Replenishment Overview

The Replenishment feature lets you move products from receiving areas or storage locations to active picking locations. This keeps your warehouse organized and ensures products are available where pickers need them.

Replenishment is the process of moving products from storage areas to active picking locations. When products arrive at the warehouse or need to be moved between locations, you use the Replenishment feature to complete these tasks.

Main purpose:

  • Move products from receiving to picking locations
  • Restock empty or low inventory locations
  • Organize products in the correct bins
  • Track product movements with LPN (License Plate Number) support

Keep Locations Stocked

Ensure picking locations always have products available. This helps pickers work faster and reduces delays.

Organize Inventory

Move products to the right locations based on demand and warehouse layout. Keep your warehouse organized.

Track Movements

Use LPN tracking to follow products through the warehouse. Know where products are at all times.

Work Efficiently

Process multiple replenishment requests quickly. Scan products and bins to move items fast.

  1. Open the Main Menu

From the login screen, sign in with your credentials. You’ll see the main menu with all available features.

  2. Select Replenishment

Tap the Replenishment icon in the main menu. The app checks your user permissions and opens the Replenishment screen.

  3. Start Working

You’ll see the Replenishment screen with a search field. You can scan or type product information to find replenishment requests.

The Replenishment screen (MyRep.java) shows:

Main elements:

  • Search field: Enter or scan SKU, UPC, Product ID, or UOM barcode
  • OK button: Process your search after entering product information
  • UOM switch: Toggle to search by UOM barcode only (in the toolbar)
  • Replenishment list: Shows all available replenishment requests matching your search
  • Camera icon: Tap to use the device camera for barcode scanning

Information shown in the list:

  • Request ID (Reple#)
  • Supplier name
  • PO number
  • SKU
  • Lot number
  • Expiration date
  • UOM (Unit of Measure)
  • Total quantity requested
  • Tracking number (if available)
  • Comments (if available)
  • Date

The replenishment process follows these steps:

  1. Search for products: Scan or enter SKU, UPC, Product ID, or UOM barcode
  2. View available requests: See all replenishment requests matching your search
  3. Select a request: Tap a replenishment request from the list
  4. Process the request: Follow the on-screen steps to:
    • Verify or scan the bin location
    • Enter quantity
    • Handle LPN if required
    • Complete serial number tracking if needed
  5. Complete: Finish the replenishment and move to the next request

Toggle the UOM switch in the toolbar to search only by UOM barcode. When enabled:

  • The search field hint changes to “Enter or scan UOM barcode”
  • Only UOM barcodes are accepted
  • The switch text turns green when active

If a Bluetooth scanner is connected:

  • The search field automatically accepts scanned data
  • You can scan directly without typing
  • The hint shows “Enter or scan Sku or Upc or ProdID or UOM barcode”

Tap the camera icon next to the search field to use your device camera for barcode scanning. This is useful when you don’t have a Bluetooth scanner connected.

When you search for a product, you may see multiple replenishment requests. Each request shows:

  • Different lot numbers
  • Different expiration dates
  • Different UOMs
  • Different quantities

Select the correct request based on the product details you’re working with.

When you select a replenishment request from the list:

  1. The app loads product details and bin information
  2. You’ll see options to:
    • Scan or enter a bin location
    • Enter quantity to replenish
    • Handle LPN if required
    • Process serial numbers if the product uses serial tracking
  3. The app verifies bin availability and location validity
  4. You complete the replenishment by confirming all details

Verify Before Processing

Always check the product details (SKU, lot, expiration) before selecting a replenishment request. Make sure you’re working with the correct product.

Use Bluetooth Scanner

Connect a Bluetooth scanner for faster work. Scanning is much faster than typing product codes manually.

Check Bin Locations

Verify bin locations before moving products. Make sure the bin exists and is available for the product you’re moving.

Complete Serial Tracking

If a product requires serial numbers, scan all serials before completing the replenishment. This ensures accurate inventory tracking.

Work in Order

Process replenishment requests in the order they appear. This helps maintain workflow efficiency and reduces errors.

Verify Quantities

Double-check quantities before confirming. Make sure the quantity matches what you’re actually moving.
