Use Templates for Common Products
Create templates for products you add frequently. This saves time and ensures consistency in product specifications.
The Momentum process lets you create new SKUs and manage product transfers between accounts. You’ll work through a complete workflow: enter SKU, select template, choose account, add description, create bin, and perform inventory recount.
This guide walks you through each step of the process from start to finish.
The Momentum process follows this workflow:
Start by entering the SKU code for the new product.
Open the Momentum module
From the main menu, tap Momentum. The new SKU layout opens with an empty SKU field at the top.
Enter the SKU
You can enter the SKU in two ways:
Option A: Camera Scanner
Option B: Keyboard Entry
Verify the SKU
Make sure the SKU code is correct before proceeding. The field shows “Enter or scan sku” as a hint.
Templates contain pre-configured product specifications. Select an existing template or create a new one.
View available templates
Below the SKU field, you’ll see a grid of template images. Each template represents a set of product specifications.
Select an existing template
Tap a template image to select it. The template’s specifications are applied:
Create a new template (optional)
Tap the “New” template (usually shows an add icon):
Delete a template (optional)
Long-press a template image to delete it:

After saving the SKU, select the account that will own this product.
Select an account
Tap the account spinner to see available accounts:
Account validation
The system checks if the account is available:
Add a product description using template words or by typing manually.
View description field
Below the account spinner, you’ll see a description field with a delete icon on the right.
Add description
You can add a description in three ways:
Option A: Type manually
Option B: Use template words
Option C: Combine both
Clear description (if needed)
Tap the delete icon (X) on the right side of the description field to clear it.
Add template words (optional)
Tap Add item in the template words list:
After saving the SKU, create a bin location for inventory storage.
Update SKU (if needed)
If you added description or images, tap Next to update the SKU:

The bin to new SKU layout appears with:
Enter bin location
Enter or scan the bin location:
Verify bin availability
The system checks if the bin is available:
Enter volume (if required)
If volume inventory is required:
Set the initial inventory quantity for the new SKU in the bin.

On the bin creation screen, you’ll see a quantity field with plus (+) and minus (-) buttons.
Enter quantity
You can set quantity in two ways:
Option A: Type manually
Option B: Use plus/minus buttons
Validate quantity
Make sure quantity is:
Send quantity
After entering bin and quantity, tap Send button:
After successful bin creation and recount, view the complete SKU and bin details.

Review information
Verify all details are correct:
Choose next action
Three buttons are available:
You can add product images at any point during the process.
Access image options
Tap the Add picture icon in the menu bar (camera/image icon).
Choose image source
A dialog appears with options:
Take photo (if camera)
If selecting camera:
Select from gallery (if gallery)
If selecting gallery:
Preview and rotate (if needed)
Preview window appears:
Save image
Tap OK to save the image:
Create templates for products you add frequently. This saves time and ensures consistency in product specifications.
Use a camera to scan SKU codes and bin locations. This reduces errors and speeds up data entry.
The system checks if a SKU already exists. If it does, you’ll see options to use the existing SKU or create it in another account.
Include product images to help warehouse staff identify products quickly. Images can be taken with the camera or selected from gallery.
Build descriptions using template words for consistency. Create reusable words and phrases for common product descriptions.
Always review the details screen before finishing. Make sure SKU, quantity, bin location, and account are all correct.
Problem: After entering a SKU, you see an alert saying the SKU already exists.
Solution: The alert shows which accounts already have this SKU. You can:
Problem: You see “First select a template or create a new template” when trying to save.
Solution: You must select a template before saving a SKU. Tap one of the template images in the grid, or create a new template by selecting the “New” template option.
Problem: You see “Please select an account” message.
Solution: Make sure you’ve selected an account from the dropdown spinner before proceeding. The account field is required to save a SKU.
Problem: You see “Please, typing a description” message.
Solution: Enter a description for the product. You can type it manually or select words from the template words list below the description field.
Problem: You see “Bin not available” message when creating a bin.
Solution: The bin location you entered may already be in use or invalid. Try a different bin location or verify the bin code is correct.
